We love sprouting mung beans and it is rare that we don’t have mung bean sprouts in the kitchen. Using them in hummus is an easy way to incorporate them into your diet!
Sprouted Mung Bean Hummus sounds kind of complicated; but it is simply a convenient way for us to use up our excess sprouted beans. I really like how the consistency turned out–my hummus is usually too thick or too soupy. This savory dip is very basic and can be adjusted with your favorite spices or additions. It is non-processed, healthy, filling, and delicious. It is great with veggies, crackers and chips or it would make a great sandwich spread!
